Dear Fellow Business Student:
Thanks for visiting our site! Delta Sigma Pi is a professional business fraternity organized to unite business students in their pursuit of academic and career success. Founded in 1907 at New York University with just 4 founding members, our fraternity has now grown to encompass the entire globe, with chapters spread across the United States, and active alumni chapters in many other countries across the world. Our 293 collegiate chapters, with the support of 54 alumni chapters, have seen the induction of over 265,000 initiates, making us one of the largest business fraternities in the nation.
Delta Sigma Pi focuses on four main pillars: Professionalism, Community Service, Scholarship, and Brotherhood. We believe that these ideals will make an excellent student, and an even better citizen. It’s also proved true that these characteristics certainly don’t hurt when trying to land that big job! Our collegiate chapter encourages members to expand their comfort zone, and develop professionally as well as personally, by offering events that “workout” the four core areas.
The Gamma Epsilon chapter at Oklahoma State was founded in 1949, and has been cheering for America’s Brightest Orange ever since. One of the most active organizations on campus, and one of the largest organizations in the Spears School of Business, students involved in our fraternity are afforded a great deal of opportunities. Our chapter works to keep an open relationship with faculty and staff so that any brother may find the support group he or she needs. We host professional speakers throughout the semester, giving our members time to network with recruiters and really dig in to what they want for their future. We encourage social activity through events such as holding “food nights” around Stillwater that are sure to get any college student out and making connections with others.
This year, Gamma Epsilon will host the third annual Cowboy Strong Run, a community service event dedicated to remembering and honoring those impacted by the events of Oklahoma State’s 2015 Homecoming Parade. Our chapter is so appreciative of the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others, and we have vowed to continue doing so for as long as we can. Partnering with the Student Foundation at Oklahoma State, this event raises money for the Student Emergency Fund – a grant/scholarship award administered by the Oklahoma State Foundation to students in great financial need.
We cannot wait to tell you everything our fraternity can do for you, as a member. Join us for one of our information sessions during the recruiting season, where brothers will be happy to share their own experiences with this great organization. After all, our brothers are all Proud to be a Deltasig!
